He is one of the leading heavyweights in the Bhangra house scene and can be found dropping the heaviest selection of bhangra-bollywood music.

His expertise and well-rounded experience has come from years of practice and determination. Aftershock’s love for music developed as a young child and only continued to blossom over the years. He was influenced by many greats in the UK South Asian DJ scene; however, his inspiration, and now also dear friend, DJ Vix is who pushed him to follow his passion.

Aftershock’s goal was to bring the UK music and dance flavor to Vancouver. His priority at every party is to provide the ultimate music and dance experience for all guests of all walks of life. To encourage everyone’s participation, DJ Aftershock was the first to initiate the infamous ‘Dance Off’ in Vancouver where the bride/groom, and other family members compete to gain the title of ‘Best Dancer.’ This innovative idea, along with many more, is what labeled DJ Aftershock as a trendsetter in the Canadian South Asian DJ community.

His unique sound and ear for music has led him to gain immense support in the South Asian community in Canada. His attention to detail and the entertainment factor can not be matched and can only be described as an experience. His services were personally requested to DJ Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s concert after-party in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has also gotten the opportunity to DJ not only across Canada, but international destinations such as Montego Bay, Jamaica; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Maui, Hawaii; Mexico and locations within the US including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

Aftershock has furthered his love of music this year with the release of his debut track “Mehfila” which he worked on along side Manak-E which has become an instant dancefloor hit. 2016 awaits the release of his next track ‘Tere Vargi’ featuring Jaswinder Daghamia which is sure to set the mark!
