WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I just wanted to write a little something about our experience with DJ Aftershock. From the very beginning from initial contact to the end stages of planning, he was an utmost professional. He handled himself with respect, humility and dignity that is rare these days. I felt like he was one of the vendors for my wedding that I could always rely on and he was never a source of stress.
Now to the performance. I have been to many events in my life and have a vast network throughout the western US and beyond and DJ Aftershock has no equal. His style of incorporating modern hip/hop, rock, house and techno with the latest Punjabi and Bollywood hits is seamless and without equal. Simply put, THIS MAN IS A GENIUS on stage.
We had a famous guest Punjabi singer and while he had the crowd going, it was nothing compared to they explosion of energy and vibrance of music that DJ Aftershock provided. He kept hundreds of people on the dance floor all night.
Our venue was the historic Millenium Biltmore hotel in downtown Los Angeles. This is a place that has been home to multiple US presidents, former site of the Academy Awards, and is steeped in Old World charm and class. While we enjoyed this atmosphere for our initial ceremonies, we were thrilled with what DJ aftershock did when the dancing started. This old palace in LA was transformed into Hakassan in Vegas. The music and vibe kept not only youth, but also the older generation going all night.
Finally, his dance offs are second to none. I’ve seen these done by several people several times, but I’ve only seen them done once right, and that is the way DJ Aftershock does it. He gets people excited about the dance off early in the night and let’s the anticipation build until the moment for the dance off comes and everyone is ready to go. He keeps the dance offs clean and fun with all satisfied in the end.
